Leisure boats was created by Mal Simpson as a business that would put him in contact with people that have the same interest as himself. Mal has been in the marine sales and servicing for many years, formally owning Manukau Marine, but was looking for a change. For quite some years it has been obvious that ownership of a boat was an expensive option to get yourself on the water, not only the initial outlay, but the storage and ongoing maintenance, hence to rent a boat seemed the answer.

With the emphasis on safety and fun, Leisure Boats can introduce you to hours of relaxation or adrenalin pumping action, the choice is yours. All our rental craft are equipped with state of the art Evinrude E-TEC engines that are initially more expensive to purchase, but will give you the customer, the confidence and the enjoyment of operating them at the same rates as most other commercial hire boat companies.
